TOP 8 ATTRACTIONS TO VISIT IN TORONTO

Toronto, Canada is a vibrant and diverse city with a wide range of attractions to explore. Here are the top 10 attractions to visit in Toronto.

Toronto CityPass

If you are going to visit the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Casa Loma, Toronto Zoo, Ontario Science Centre, and City Cruises Toronto, I would suggest buying a Toronto CityPass, which grants you access to the CN Tower plus 4 more attractions from the attractions I just mentioned. The CityPass costs $78.12 per person if you buy now online.

CN Tower

One of the most iconic landmarks in Toronto, the CN Tower offers breathtaking views of the city from its observation deck. It stands at a height of 553.3 meters, making it one of the tallest freestanding structures in the world and you can also experience the EdgeWalk, where you walk around the tower's edge at a height of 356 meters. The tower was originally built in 1976 by the Canadian National Railway (CNR) as a communication tower for television and radio broadcasting. Above the LookOut Level, there is another observation deck called the SkyPod. It is located at a height of 447 meters and is one of the highest observation decks in the world that is open to the public. To reach the top of the CN Tower, visitors can take one of the tower's glass-fronted elevators, which travel at a speed of 22 km/h (15 mph); the ride to the LookOut Level takes approximately 58 seconds. If you have extra time to spare, grab dinner at the CN Tower's "360 Restaurant", which completes rotation every 72 minutes. Diners can enjoy a meal while enjoying breathtaking views of the city. The CN Tower has become an iconic symbol of Toronto and Canada. Cost for Timed General Admission + Timed SkyPod costs $53.00 per adult; guests will need to select the number of tickets and then the date/time. Most people prefer to visit CN Tower themselves but you can also visit CN Tower as part of this Tiqets tour I found, which is a Guided tour Scenic Toronto Night Tour with CN Tower Admission.  The tour takes 4 hours and costs $89.43, and also included stops at the distillery district.

Located just off the downtown core, the Toronto Islands are a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Enjoy beautiful beaches, picnic areas, bike rentals, and stunning views of the skyline. The Toronto Islands are made up of a series of interconnected islands and are composed of three major islands: Ward's Island, Centre Island, and Hanlan's Point. There are also several smaller islands and islets within the group. The islands are accessible by ferry, which departs from the Toronto Ferry Docks at the foot of Bay Street. The ferry ride takes approximately 10 minutes to reach the islands; single-ride tickets cost $9.11 per adult (20-64). The total land area of the Toronto Islands is about 570 acres, Centre Island is the largest of the three major islands, followed by Hanlan's Point and Ward's Island. The Toronto Islands are home to numerous parks, beaches, picnic areas, and recreational facilities. Some popular attractions include Centreville Amusement Park, Franklin Children's Garden, Gibraltar Point Lighthouse, and the William Meany Maze. Sharks, sawfish, and other creatures swim overhead, providing an immersive experience. The aquarium offers touch tanks where visitors can interact with certain marine animals, such as stingrays and horseshoe crabs, under the guidance of knowledgeable staff.
