For my recent trip to and from Hong Kong, I decided to fly Qatar Airways from JFK to Hong Kong with a transfer to Doha, Qatar because I heard very good things about Qatar Airways and Doha Airport was just voted the best Airport last year, so I wanted to check out the airport. This is my review of my experience flying Economy Class with Qatar Airways; I will be rating the flight based on Cabin service, Flight Amenities, punctuality, in-flight entertainment, and Safety.

Economy Class Review
Airbus A350-900
The Qatar Airways Airbus A350 is one of the most advanced aircraft in its fleet, known for its cutting-edge technology, passenger comfort, and fuel efficiency. A350-900 is slightly smaller, with a seating capacity of about 283 passengers in a two-class configuration (Business and Economy). Qatar Airways uses its A350s on long-haul and ultra-long-haul routes, connecting Doha to destinations in North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. These aircraft are often deployed on flagship routes like New York (JFK), London (LHR), and Sydney (SYD). Thanks to the aircraft's wider fuselage, passengers enjoy more spacious seating. HEPA filters refresh the cabin air every 2-3 minutes, ensuring a clean environment. Lower Cabin Altitude and Humidity Control reduces fatigue and jet lag.

Boarding Process
If there was something that could be improved on with Qatar Airways, it would have to be the Boarding Process, it's just very disorganized. Passengers didn't seem to know where to lineup to board and they had to always recheck passengers. While not a huge issue, it is something that could be improve upon to make the whole flight experience even better.
Transfer Process
The Transfer at Doha airport for the flight to Hong Kong was seamless and I didn't go through security but for the flight back to JFK, I had to clear security twice, once after arriving at the airport and another before boarding the airplane at the gate. Many people were not prepared for a gate check so as a result, it was just very hectic.
Overall Flying Qatar Airlines was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend you to fly Qatar Airways as well, as it is one of the top airlines currently. The seats were quite spacious and comfortable, the service from the flight attendants was great, and the flight was ahead of schedule most of the time. The food may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they did have frequent meal service and they had drinks and snacks available in the back as well. I would have to rate the overall flight experience with Qatar Airways a 9/10 and I would fly Qatar Airways again.
