Macau Tower 

Macau Tower is easy to get to as you can reach it via various different forms of Transportation, including Bus 32 from Macau Ferry Terminal, Bus 26 from Cotai Ferry Terminal, and Bus 9A from Macao Border Gate. If you end up taking Bus 9A from the Border Gate, you should walk to the M225 R. da Tribuna/Est. Dos Cavaleiros stop. 

The Macau Tower is a must-see destination, especially if you're into breathtaking views and daring adventures. Its observation deck offers sweeping panoramas of Macau, the Pearl River Delta, and even parts of China. The ticket prices for the Macau Tower Observation Deck are MOP 208, MOP 138 for Children ages 3-11 and Seniors 65+. As for the opening hours, the Macau Tower is generally open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. If you're feeling bold, it's home to the world's highest commercial bungee jump, standing at 233 meters (764 feet) above the ground—an adrenaline rush like no other! Beyond the thrill, the tower has a range of dining options, from casual cafes to elegant restaurants with scenic views. There's also a cinema and exhibition space, making it a hub for entertainment and culture. It’s truly a place where you can take things slow—or get your heart racing. 

Macau's Fisherman's Wharf

Macau's Fisherman's Wharf is a vibrant themed entertainment complex located near the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal in Macau. It features a mix of attractions, including replicas of European landmarks, a Roman amphitheater, and themed hotels like the Victorian-style Rocks Hotel and the Baroque-inspired Harbourview Hotel. The area offers a variety of dining options, from Portuguese specialties to Shanghainese cuisine, and is a popular spot for nightlife, shopping, and sightseeing. It's a unique destination where you can explore diverse architectural styles and enjoy a blend of leisure and cultural experiences.

Jin Yue Xuan: A Chinese restaurant offering a range of Cantonese dishes, located in the New Orleans-themed area.

Copa Steakhouse: A highly-rated steakhouse located nearby at the Sands Macao Hotel, offering premium cuts and a cozy atmosphere.

Talay Thai: A great spot for Thai cuisine, featuring seafood and Asian flavors.

Brasserie de Paris: Located in the Legend Palace Hotel, this restaurant offers international and seafood dishes in a stylish setting.

Av. do Infante dom Henrique

Avenida do Infante Dom Henrique is a notable street in Macau, named after Prince Henry the Navigator, a key figure in Portuguese maritime history. This avenue is located in the Nape area of Macau and serves as a significant thoroughfare connecting various parts of the city. The street is known for its proximity to landmarks such as the Grand Lisboa Hotel and the New Lisboa Casino, making it a bustling area for both locals and tourists. It also features a mix of modern architecture and historical significance, reflecting Macau's unique blend of cultures.

Senado Square

Senado Square is a popular stop, known for its historic charm and vibrant atmosphere. Senado Square, also known as Largo do Senado, is a historic public square in Macau and part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Historic Centre of Macau. It features a beautiful wave-patterned mosaic pavement, European-style buildings, and a central fountain. The square is surrounded by landmarks like St. Dominic's Church, the Leal Senado Building, and the General Post Office. It's a vibrant area filled with shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, making it a must-visit spot for tourists. Senado Square, or Largo do Senado, has been a central part of Macau's history for centuries. It was named after the Leal Senado, the "Loyal Senate," which was the local government office during the Portuguese colonial period. 

                              

The square served as a hub for administration, commerce, and public gatherings, reflecting Macau's blend of Portuguese and Chinese cultures. In the early 1990s, the square was transformed into a pedestrian-only zone, with its iconic wave-patterned mosaic pavement laid by Portuguese craftsmen. This design pays homage to Macau's maritime heritage. Events like festivals and performances often take place here, adding to its lively atmosphere.

                         

Ruins of St. Paul

The Ruins of St. Paul in Macau are the remnants of a 17th-century Catholic religious complex that included St. Paul's College and the Church of St. Paul, also known as "Mater Dei." Built between 1602 and 1640 by Jesuit priests, it was one of the largest Catholic churches in Asia at the time. The structure was destroyed by a fire during a typhoon in 1835, leaving only its iconic granite façade and a grand staircase of 68 stone steps. The façade is a stunning blend of European and Asian influences, featuring intricate carvings of biblical images, Chinese characters, and mythological symbols. It stands as a symbol of Macau's unique cultural heritage and is part of the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre of Macau.

The Ruins of St. Paul's in Macau house the Museum of Sacred Art and Crypt, which is located at the base of the iconic façade. This museum showcases a collection of religious artifacts, including paintings, sculptures, and statues, as well as relics of Chinese Christian martyrs and Jesuit priests. The crypt contains the remains of these martyrs, adding a historical and spiritual dimension to the site. The museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last admission at 5:30 PM. It's a fascinating place to explore the religious and cultural history of Macau.

Taipa Village

Taipa Village is a charming and historic area in Macau known for its blend of Portuguese and Chinese influences. It's one of the best-preserved parts of the city, offering a glimpse into Macau's cultural heritage. The village features narrow streets, colonial-style buildings, Chinese temples, and a variety of shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Some highlights include the Taipa Houses Museum, a collection of beautifully restored colonial houses showcasing Macau's history and culture, as well as the Pak Tai Temple, a Taoist temple dedicated to the sea deity Pak Tai, dating back to 1844. Enjoy authentic Macanese and Portuguese dishes at the many restaurants and street food stalls.                

                                                 

                        

Several popular streets worth exploring include Rua do Cunha, often referred to as "Food Street." This bustling area is famous for its local delicacies like almond cookies, egg tarts, and pork chop buns. It's a paradise for food lovers. Rua Direita Carlos Eugénio, known for its colonial architecture and quaint shops, offers a glimpse into Macau's Portuguese heritage, and Rua dos Clérigos, a quieter street with a mix of traditional and modern establishments, is perfect for a leisurely stroll.

Cotai Strip

Cotai was the result of a major land reclamation project which joined the two islands of Coloane and Taipa and forms part of the Macau government's continuous efforts to expand the region's territory. The reclaimed land in Cotai has been mainly used for the development of casinos. The Cotai Strip is an area known mostly for its hotel-casinos in the central portion of Cotai, Macau. The term was first coined by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation in reference to its construction of a strip. Over the past few decades, the layout of the Cotai Strip has also slowly developed into a grid-like layout with major hotels and casinos, not directly connected to the 'strip' as opposed to the Las Vegas Strip, where the majority of major hotels and casinos have front access to the strip. 

                           

The Cotai Casino Strip in Macau is a dazzling hub of entertainment, often compared to the Las Vegas Strip. It features some of the world's largest and most luxurious casino resorts, including The Venetian Macau, City of Dreams, Galaxy Macau, The Plaza Macau, The Londoner Macau, and the Wynn Palace. Besides the Casinos, you can also visit Studio city for Hollywood-style entertainment with thrilling rides and themed attractions. A Day in Macau

Arrive in Macau via Bus/Ferry.

Macau Tower-Visit the Observation Tower at the Macau Tower. Spend 45 minutes here. 

Take a Taxi from Macau Tower to the Macau Fisherman's Wharf

Macau's Fisherman's Wharf-Start the day at Macau's Fisherman's Wharf. Spend around 1 hour here. 

Take Bus 3A From the Macau Fisherman Wharf Convention and Exhibition Centre to Centro/Infante D. Henrique.

Stroll down Av. Infante Dom Henrique. 

Senado Square- Stroll through the Historic center of Macau, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Ruins of St. Pauls- Visit the Ruins of the St. Paul's Church, the leftover remnants of a 17th century Catholic religious complex that included St. Paul's College and the Church of St. Paul, an UNESCO World Heritage site. Spend 30 Minutes here. If you have more time, you can visit the Museum of Sacred Art and Crypt.

Taipa Village- Visit a charming and historic area, which blends Portuguese and Chinese influences. Highlights included the Taipa Houses Museum, Pak Tai Temple and the infamous Rua do Cunha. Eat a late Lunch at one of the local restraunts here. Reserve around at least 2-3 hours.

From the Taipa Village, you can walk over to the Venetian Macau, one of the standout casinos on the Cotai Strip.

Cotai Strip-Visit the Casino Hotels on the Cotai Strip, you can do this by walking through the casinos, as the casinos are well connected. 

For Dinner, you have the choice of either eating in Casinos, or going back over to Taipa Village, where there are cheaper options.

Depart Macau via Bus/Ferry. Look for ways to get to either the Ferry terminal or the Macau Bus Port via Casino shuttle bus, as they are free.
